Q. What services does The Apex Gallery offer?

A. As an experienced custom framer, we bring talent, skill, and the knowledge to select the proper framing materials for your particular project. This means helping you choose the right colors, the right frame style, and most importantly, the right materials to protect your art, photo or memorabilia.

There's the matboard, the frame, the backing board and mounting materials to consider. And of course, the glass. And glass is glass, right? Wrong. All glass is not created equal. In order to preserve, protect and get the most out of your artwork, we'll help you make the right choice.

Q. What determines the glass I should use?

A. We will share our knowledge of glass choices with you and help you to determine which type your project will benefit from the most. We offer a wide selection of glass to protect your art, featuring different levels of anti-glare and UV protection.

We'll ask you about the value of your artwork. Is it one-of-a-kind, rare, irreplaceable, of great monetary or sentimental value? Does the room you are hanging/displaying it in receive above average direct sunlight or fluorescent light? If so, your project should be framed with conservation glass.
