More than just a frame shop.

The Apex Gallery and Custom Framing has been serving Downtown Apex and the local area since 2001.  Owners Nick and Bethany Bryant purchased the business in May 2014. After studying Studio Art at UNC-Asheville, Bethany knew she wanted to work with art. A part time job at a picture framing shop in 2000 grew into a passion for the industry.  She came to The Apex Gallery in 2004 and fell in love with Downtown Apex!  Bethany still finds time to paint and shows her work in the shop.

Visitors to The Apex Gallery are charmed by the turn-of-the-century storefront's brick facade which is nestled among the historic district's specialty shops, restaurants, and businesses. We love to support other Downtown Apex shops and restaurants- there is much to see and do around the historic district!

The thousands of frame moulding samples is an awesome sight in itself, and the custom-painted original pressed tin ceiling and wide tin crown moulding draws a "Wow!" from those who enter through the front door. The tall ceiling with its antique design is a historic treasure and a true conversation piece!
