Jane Wolfgang is the artist behind our favorite Apex mixed media pieces!

When Jane and her husband relocated to North Carolina’s Peak of Good Living, she was captivated by the quaint and vintage style of Apex’s endearing downtown strip. In search for a postcard as a keepsake, Jane failed to find one – so, she took it into her own hands and decided to create her own.

After gathering a stockpile of magazine articles, maps, brochures and documents, Jane went to work creating the first of what is now her bread and butter – mixed media artwork. Fast forward a few years and Jane is now masterfully pasting and painting local landmarks, buildings, homes and towns – exceptionally special places. Her pieces are happily adorning living room mantels, creating conversation on busy restaurant walls, spicing up cozy office lounges and hanging in local art galleries all around our state.

She works both oil and mixed media, which combines her photography with text and acrylic paint. Jane also accepts commission work if you are in search of a special reminder of your home, favorite vacation spot or even your pet! Learn more at her website.
